Did you know that I (Stacey) work on another podcast in addition to We Teach Languages? It’s called Leading Lines, and its mission to explore the future of educational technology in higher education. Last year, I had the opportunity to interview two of my colleagues who both happen to be accomplished textbook authors: Bill VanPatten and Lee Forester.

Bill, Lee, and I talked in depth about the role of digital resources and textbooks in the language classroom. It’s a fast-paced and lively discussion, and I think many We Teach Languages listeners will love it. You can find the episode here.

In addition to the podcast episode, I also created an online teaching guide with advice from language teachers about how to best use digital textbook and publisher-provided online resources. Every instructor quoted in this teaching guide is an experienced language instructor.

If you have any feedback on the episode or the teaching guide, I would love to hear it! You can add a comment to this blog post, or use the form on the Contact page to send me an email.
